Alin Halimatussadiah is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI), and Head of the Green Economy and Climate Research Group at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM), FEB UI. Her research covers the economics, policy, and financing of climate change and the energy transition; carbon pricing; circular economy; sustainable agriculture and fisheries; disaster economics; green industrialisation; and green growth.
She serves on the Board of Directors of the Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics, is a member of the Climate Crisis Advisory Group, and coordinates the Indonesia Climate Modelling and Policy Hub (I-CLIMB). She also sits on the Climate Advisory Board of the Global Innovation Fund, serves as Vice President of the Indonesian Regional Science Association, is on the Advisory Board of Conservation Strategy Fund Indonesia, and is on the Editorial Board of Energy and Climate Change.
Alin received her PhD from Universitas Indonesia in 2013, specialising in natural resource and environmental economics, and holds certifications in water financing, renewable energy financing, impact investing, sustainable finance, and sustainability reporting.
