Emanuel has been Professor of Financial and Monetary Economics at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since December 2021. He further acts as Co-Director of the Centre for Central Banking and is Associate Editor at the International Journal of Central Banking.  His research focuses on the intersection of macroeconomics and finance and has been published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, and the Journal of Monetary Economics among others.
