Joe’s work focuses on net zero central banking, just transition, and adaptation finance in emerging markets. He is a Policy Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, which he joined in 2023. Previously, Joe was a Research Fellow in the Climate and Sustainability programme at ODI, where he led work on mobilising responsible investment in emerging markets and developing economies. Joe has also completed financial due diligence for agricultural investors, and worked on the European Parliament’s Monetary and Economic Affairs Committee during the 2008 global financial crisis. He has a DPhil from the University of Oxford.
