Matthias is an economic sociologist supporting the Centre’s foundational work on climate scenario use and design with a particular focus on monetary and financial market policy. He is also involved in developing CETEx’s research strategy and its academic network. Before joining CETEx, Matthias was a postdoctoral Research Fellow at Warwick Business School investigating the development and use of climate-related metrics and tools within financial markets. He obtained his PhD on the construction of financial climate risk at the LSE.
