Between commitments, challenges and opportunities

Closed-door dialogue
Tuesday 23 June 2026
10:00am-12:00pm

We at the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) alongside our partners, the Grantham Research Institute, Fundar and TIDE, are delighted to be co-hosting the invitation only, closed-door event, Dialogue on the energy transition and sustainable growth in Latin America, as part of London Climate Action Week 2026.

Amid growing global uncertainty, Latin America holds a distinctive position with one of the world’s cleanest energy matrices, vast natural resources, and a window of opportunity for sustainable growth. But the path from these endowments to reaal opportunity is not without its challenges.

This event brings together researchers who are mapping that path and proposing policies to navigate it, exchanging perspectives and motivations for action across regional research projects — including CETEX and the Grantham Research Institute’s climate action landscape research, E3G’s analysis of energy commitments, Fundar’s work on productive development opportunities in renewable energy value chains, and TIDE’s work on international cooperation for sustainable development.

This is a closed-door invitation only event but if you are working on these issues and are able to attend, you can register your interest here.
