Closed-door roundtable
Friday 26 June 2026
09:15am-11:30am

We at the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) alongside our partners, LACLIMA, GRI, Conversation International and the Embassy of Brazil to the United Kingdom, are delighted to be co-hosting the invitation only, closed-door roundtable, From Belém to Antalya: policy and action agenda, the legacy of COP30 and the road to COP31, as part of London Climate Action Week 2026.

Overview

Following COP30 and the Bonn Climate Change Conference (SB64), this invitation-only roundtable will assess early developments in the 2026 climate negotiation cycle and examine priorities on the road to COP31 in Antalya.

Bringing together representatives from governments, the private sector, diplomatic missions, academia and civil society, the discussion will focus on sustaining the political momentum generated by COP30 and advancing implementation across key areas of the international climate agenda. Particular attention will be given to climate governance reform, fiscal and climate finance priorities, the Tropical Forests Forever Facility (TFFF), and pathways for sustainable forest-based development in the Amazon.

The event will provide an opportunity for participants to exchange perspectives, identify common priorities, and develop recommendations for multistakeholder action at the international, regional and national levels.

  • Reflections on the outcomes of COP30 and developments emerging from the Bonn Climate Change Conference (SB64);
  • Discussion of priorities for climate governance and implementation ahead of COP31;
