Discussion paper launch
Tuesday 23 June 2026
09:00am-12:00pm
HI House, Shoreditch, London

We at the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) alongside partners, iCS, CEBRI, World Climate Foundation and South of the Future, are delighted to be co-hosting the launch event of a new discussion paper, Brazil’s Investment-Led Growth in the Ecological Transition, during London Climate Action Week 2026.

The discussion at the event will explore how Brazil’s natural capital, clean energy matrix, industrial capabilities, and geopolitical positioning could support an investment-led development strategy aligned with the ecological transition.

This event is designed for representatives from policy organisations, government representatives from across the globe and in particular from emerging markets and developing economies, investors and donors.

Discussion paper

The discussion paper proposes a new framework for thinking about Brazil’s development strategy in a rapidly transforming global economy. It argues that climate transition, technological change, and geopolitical fragmentation are reshaping patterns of production, trade, and investment- creating new opportunities for countries with strong structural advantages.
