We at the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) alongside partner, Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), are delighted to be co-hosting the closed-door roundtable, Scaling transition intelligence across emerging markets, as part of London Climate Action Week 2026.

Transition assessments are increasingly common as financial institutions look for credible investments to deliver on their climate objectives. However, with energy shocks changing the geopolitical landscape and transition-relevant data becoming more readily available, there is untapped potential to use transition assessments as a tool for navigating the broader risks and opportunities presented by the energy transition. This roundtable aims to surface current best practices across different markets, and identify opportunities for improvement and integration of transition assessment outputs into risk management, business development, and client engagement.
