Scaling up solar energy in emerging markets

We at the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) alongside our partner, Energiva Ventures, are delighted to be co-hosting the closed-door roundtable, Scaling up solar energy in emerging markets, as part of London Climate Action Week 2026.

This invite-only roundtable is designed to explore opportunities for solar energy adoption, looking at the complete value chain – from manufacturing and supply chains to adoption and financing.

This in-person event aims to highlight the experiences of different emerging economies to examine successful approaches in accelerating the uptake of rooftop solar and expanding domestic solar manufacturing capacity.  Participants will gather to discuss lessons learned from these geographies, potential of replicability, and broader implications for the energy transition across the Global South countries. 

This is an invitation only event. Participants will include policymakers and civil society representatives across various emerging markets, including but not limited to India and Indonesia. Please contact  A.G.Yusuf@lse.ac.uk  if you are able to attend.
