Joseph Noss is a Senior Advisor at Oliver Wyman, advising central banks and international institutions on a range of topics including crisis management frameworks, market operations, and financial system resilience. He also chairs the ISO Sustainable Finance Committee.

Joseph previously held senior roles at the Bank of England, including leading the Capital Markets team in Financial Stability. He has also worked at the Financial Stability Board, where he led analytical work on global financial vulnerabilities, climate change and financial technology, supporting policy development and engagement across G20 presidencies and with senior policymakers internationally.

His research focuses on how climate transition risks are priced in financial markets, including the use of asset prices to infer market expectations of climate outcomes, and the implications for monetary policy and financial stability.

As a Visiting Senior Fellow at the LSE Centre for Economic Transition Expertise, he contributes to work on monetary and financial markets and the role of central banks in supporting the transition to a sustainable economy
