Judith is a expert in climate finance and financial systems development with a particular specialism in capital markets and banking sectors in emerging economies. As well as her role as Visiting Senior Fellow, she serves as a Senior Research Associate at ODI Global, where she has been a leading researcher since 2014.

Judith advises a wide range of prestigious institutions, including the UK Parliamentary oversight body ICAI, the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Asian Development Bank, FSD Africa, C40 Cities, UNCTAD, UNECA, and the International Committee of the Red Cross. She has also advised African and Asian ministries and central banks and served as an invited member for committees at the Bank of England and the World Economic Forum.

Prior to her research career, Judith spent over a decade as an investment banker, holding senior roles at JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank including serving as CFO and Asian board member for JP Morgan’s Asia Fixed Income Markets. She holds a PhD and Masters in Economics from SOAS, University of London (2014) and a MSc in Climate Change: Environment, Science and Policy from King’s College London (2024).
